As a part of the integration politics and recreation, the Cooperative Fotrama organized in November 24 the 2005 a «Thanks giving day». For the occasion they prepare a lunch in a popular restaurant calls «El Frente» near to the Angostura, all the workers of the spinning factory and the weavers (leaders of the knitting centers) participated in this event...

The Cooperative Fotrama participates of the Cooperative Day on July 8, 2005. A big group of the partners participated in this event, (most of the weavers of Fotrama are partners), that gathers all the most popular cooperatives organizations of Cochabamba.

The Cooperative Fotrama Ltda. with the support of USAID organized in all the knitting centers a training course of «Quality systems of knitting garments made by needles and for Export.»

Work Force Training

FOTRAMA was founded in November of 1961 and constituted as Integral Cooperative Limited FOTRAMA in April of 1962 for the Rev. Father Gerardo Ziegengiest of the Order Maryknoll, at the moment we have more than 600 partners which approximately 90% is women of the rural areas of the Department of Cochabamba and Oruro. Fotrama is the first Cooperative of Production in Bolivia and it began its activities with the support of the Missionary Parents of Maryknoll that arrived in Bolivia.
